A Wonderful Trip

Last Thursday, March 26 was my birthday and we had the chance to visit a very known place in Thailand. It's first time for us to go there as a family so everyone was quite excited!

It's a place of comfort for some but a place of tragedy for others. It had been struck by tsunami 5 years ago. But now, it's starting to recover. How we wish we're able to visit the tsunami spot but due to our schedule we had not seen the place.

However, the place is nice and we saw a lot of foreigners in the area. Traveling was not as easy because it's quite far but the kids had fun.

The Cheapest Place in Town

When we came to Hatyai, a couple of years ago, we went to different places and found the place where we could buy cheaper ones.

Yesterday, we went to the place where a lot of people are coming on weekends. They call it "Asian Trade" Whatever you desire to buy they have it and cheaper than others. But you need to be very patient in looking for the thing you need to buy because it's quite large.

I enjoy buying there - our son AJ was also enjoying because he could play with others. There is a place for children to play and enjoy. But it's quite far from the city proper. I think you will enjoy if you're here!

Anyway, that's only one part of Thailand. This Thursday we'll be going to another place and stay there until Sunday. I will share the picture next time.

Genting Getaway

It's always fresh in my mind our Genting exploration. Genting is one of the tourists spot in Malaysia where a lot of people especially tourists are coming and enjoying the great view of the place. There were great Hotels and shows around the place. Just imagine it's on top of the mountain with clouds and fogs.
We had been to different places around Genting Highlands. We also took some rides - a lot of them. Our kids really enjoy that much! When you're there as if you are in a different world- a world of fantasies. However, life must go on, so we need to go back after a few days.
Coming down from the highlands was another great experience. We took a cable car and we passed through high mountains, my nerves were trembling while passing the mountains - it was a great journey for us as a family. And it's fun!

Lantern Festival

It's a great experience to travel and see the creativity of each country. You can see different views as well as man-made designs.

Last night we visited the Lantern Festival in Hatyai. Actually, it's our second visit, we went there last December. You will really amused looking at their designs. It's really great. I will share the pictures later.

Our kids really enjoyed especially AJ, he loves to take a pose and ask his Papa to take pictures. Em-2m my teenager, is already quite shy in the camera, so he only got few poses.

There is a big aquarium with a school of fish inside, seashells and the like; of course with different lights inside the lanterns. People of all ages are coming, I think everyday, just to take pictures and enjoy seeing all the lanterns with different designs and shapes. More and more are coming especially during night time.
